Resources: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is it me, or is technology frustrating for everybody?

A: It's NOT just you. Technology challenges all of us for several reasons: it's complex, it's constantly changing and learning to use it (on your own) takes a lot of time. The result: most people figure out the basics and stop - sacrificing terrific benefits that are unknown to average users.

Q: So how do I figure out what's right for me?

A: Try this approach. Before starting, clearly identify your goal(s): more assets, better communication, higher retention, more clients, more free time, etc. Be specific. Then, brainstorm your biggest challenges in achieving those goals. Next, map out the processes you follow today to achieve those as you run your business. Identify where you use technology to automate, AND where you don't. Talk to others in the business to learn what they are doing. You may want to consider getting help from a coaching company like The Gregory Group.

Q: You use the phrase "leverage technology," but how do you do that?

A: Archimedes, a famous Greek mathematician, said, "give me a lever long enough and I can move the earth." The idea behind leveraging technology is to create greater efficiency and effectiveness in your business with minimal additional effort - so that you can spend your time and money on what's important to you.

Q: What aspects of my business do you focus on?

A: We focus on those parts of your business that have to do with marketing, which we define as the process of finding and keeping clients. We are not programmers, we don't do computer installations or technical support - we are business people who know first hand what technology can do to improve your ability to build and maintain relationships. We consult with and coach you on how to make better use of the tools you own, or can easily acquire, to improve results.
